Features
Everything your developer Macneeds to stay lean.
One app to find build output and caches, remove apps completely, watch your system, and restore anything from the Trash.
Scan My Mac
One scan finds what developer tools leave behind.
Cachelift checks the places Xcode, Flutter, Next.js, Gradle, Cargo, npm and AI tools fill up, and groups them so you see at a glance where the space went.
- Safe Clean picks build output and caches, which tools rebuild on their own.
- Deep Clean adds downloads, large files and AI models for you to review.
List or Treemap
See the biggest folders as a map.
Switch between a sorted list and a treemap. The bigger the tile, the more space it takes, so the worst offenders stand out instantly.
- Every tile shows its size and whether it is safe or needs a look.
- Click a tile to select it, just like ticking it in the list.
Project folders
Clean build output inside your projects.
Add the folders where you keep code. Cachelift lists the build output inside each project, such as target, build and .dart_tool.
- Only folders Git ignores are listed. Anything Git tracks is never touched.
- Each project keeps its own results in the sidebar.
Docker and pnpm
Prune Docker and pnpm the right way.
Cachelift runs the tools’ own cleanup commands instead of deleting their files by hand.
- Docker removes stopped containers, unused networks, build cache and unused images. Running containers and volumes are kept.
- Docker deletes these directly. They do not go to the Trash and cannot be restored.
App Uninstaller
Remove apps completely.
Pick an app to see everything it keeps on your Mac: the app itself plus its support files, caches and preferences.
- Everything goes to the Trash, so you can put it back.
- Quit the app first. macOS may ask for your password.
System Monitor
Know what your Mac is doing right now.
Live CPU, memory, battery, power and network, plus the processes using the most, sorted by CPU or memory.
- Memory pressure shows when your Mac is actually short of RAM.
- Battery health shows maximum capacity and cycle count.
Trash
Changed your mind? Put it back.
Everything Cachelift removes goes to the Trash first. Its Trash page shows how much space the Trash is using and lets you restore items or empty it when you are sure.
- Space is freed only when you empty the Trash.
- Once the Trash is emptied, items cannot be restored.
